From what I can see the next generation stuff in solar is privately held. Most listed stocks are fabricators of older technologies mostly based in China. Then there are units of big multinationals like BP and Kyocera. Looking at analysts forecasts and current stock prices some of the valuations of listed solar may be OK now after the sharp sell-off. Question is how fast next generation stuff will start to eclipse the previous generation products.
