Because they ensure that maximum pain is imposed. Slow torture. On a side matter, European Market crashed today. The whole German Dax fell more than 7.25%, this is not really pretty. Those blinders at the ECB arent doing anything. Maybe, they applause because the markets set a new record in newer Eurostock era. The fastest fall from grace. No slow torture like in IMB/CFC... A bank is in trouble. A large European one, and rumors fly around the Commerz bank.
