And what about Nietzsche? While at first blush, there seems to be some similarities, Hitler's views didn't seem to be rooted in Nietzsche's work. For example, I don't think Hitler would agree that the Jews and Germans should interbreed to form the master race. In addition, Nietzsche was opposed to nationalism and the Nazi party was all about nationalism.

It very well may be the case that Hitler was influenced by Nietzsche. However, there were a lot of differences. So arguing that Hitler was pro-atheist because Nietzsche was just isn't consistent.
