J. Saf, You have done a great job setting up the DC office of the Commission. Having a source for Federal budget news is wonderful.....And having David be able to tell us what some of the DC stuff really means...is even better. David of course is now a Commission Member...as any founding member has the power to grant such mebership without having to discuss it with a bunch of people who could really care less. I think the passing of these budget bills will be very nice for Identix. If there is a backlog of projects that need to get going.....the passing of the budget bills may be the only detail that stands between speculating that an order exists and having a PO in Identix's hand. I do hope that the POs come with the budget news......or very soon thereafter. Remember that Kessler's glass is now full. Smart Cards may be a year or so down the road.....and biometric authentication of those cards a few years after that.....but the Smart Cards that are being ordered by the Government now are required to be "biometric ready"......I have already posted the solicitation requests that verify this fact. I believe that Randy Fowler is very wise to be talking to the major players in this field now......as it will pay off big when the time comes. In a couple of years.....we can discuss what a really smart move it was to invest all of the time and effort into an area that would not deliver revenues within the next two weeks. bg ps. I have decided to be the linguist only for nations that speak english........and I'm also searching for the most expensive eatery in Indy.......Bom Aperte!
