January 18, 2008 -- I'VE had a huge response to Tuesday's column about The New York Times' obscene bid to smear veterans of Iraq and Afghanistan as mad killers. Countless readers seem to be wondering: Why did the paper do it?

What a bizarre position this guy is taking. Do you always pull these stunts? Is it second nature? The Times article was pointing out the impact the war has had on these soldiers and that returning vets are having a difficult time adjusting to civilian life. Its an issue that needs more public awareness; not less.

Yikes! I don't get what is wrong with you people. Its as if you grew up in Uzbekistan......far away from American freedom and enlightenment.
