No. If not for the BOJ who intervened, it would have traded through 100 earlier (they stopped it at 104 or something). The EUR traded at 90Y some time in 2000.

I tried a short bond. At this level there are lots of sellers. It reminds me on bond sales I made during the katrina crisis when it traded 119 or 2% up.
Today, Asians have to liquidate positions as well, and the most liquid are treasuries, not mortgages.

Eurodollars moved up 25points across the maturities, the expectations into Heli Ben are sky high.
