Well Chip with all due respect (I have seen you do some good work on this board), I don't think you have a good understanding of Armstrong's model...which you can see on my blog on the link here... bp0.blogger.com I had originally thought that da_cheif's prediction for dow 20K was going to happen before the next major cycle low in 2011, but I have changed my mind now. The up channels on the spx and nya have been broken hard now, so those up channels have now turned into massive multi-year bear flags. Armstrong's pi cycle has positive statistical correalation into the billions to one odds. The last thing I saw quoting Martin was that he thought some recovery ould happen in 2008, but that does not necessarily mean new highs.
