Must make for some nice opportunities when a stock deserves to go up more than 10%?

No, if a stock goes up 10% in a day, it then sits there at the 10% up price with lots of buyers at that level, but no sellers. So you can sell it easily, but you can't buy it unless you get really lucky and some seller comes in and the market somehow decides to execute your buy order over all the others sitting there at the limit up price along with you.

Make sense?
