Is VCSI really the Microsoft of voice recognition. As I understand it, VCSI is involved in the low end of this area. I read that the vocabulary recognized is only 400 words. Now, I don't doubt that there is a good market for their products. Personally, what excites me in the area of voice recognition is a dictation system. As one who dictates up to 2 hours per day and then waits 7-10 days for this dictation to return from transcription, I see this as a faster and less expensive solution. I watched a demonstration of Dragon Systems voice recognition dictation system and I was quite impressed. Too bad Dragon is a private company with no plans to go public.

Do you believe VCSI is ahead of its competitors?
