I think it obvious that this is true of some countries, many have higer priorities and have neither the time or money to keep up weather stations. From them it is probabably best to keep the data limited to airports. Do you really think the Iraqi's repair the weather station before all else if it is damaged by a roadside bomb? Do you think countries like Afganistan have the time?
