I wonder how much bandwidth was taken up by posting the full text of this message to nine different groups on SI.... That's kind of like buying a car so you can drive it into the back of a semi trailer and *then* drive somewhere. Promote Internet literacy by promoting the use of hypertext links. The reasoning is as follows:

When people understand how the Web (and the Internet's various other protocols) works, they can understand the true power of the medium.

When they understand the true power of the medium, investors can make more informed decisions about the companies in which they invest. A more informed investor is a more effective investor.

A stock held by knowledgeable investors is less susceptible to precipitous daily drops, as the understanding of the inherent value of the company's products provides a justification for holding the stock that supercedes the concern about transient management or earnings news.

Cutting and pasting text from a Web site that can be accessed via a hyperlink is symptomatic of why ADBE remains primarily a trader's stock rather than a long-term investment like LU, GE, P&G, etc., etc., etc.
