I did look at weather.com, and it sure is shaping up to be a real winter around here. Personally, I like that. Love the 4 seasons with sunny summers and snowy winters. That's really why I should move back to colo or mont. I do have a feeling you'll be able to make the appt though since it says rain/snow. Prolly be more like rain knowing this area. So we need to enjoy the sun today and tomorrow because it doesn't look like it's going to last.

You'll have to keep us informed about your situation too. If they want you to have the surgery now, it might be a good idea to get it over with before summer sets in. You don't want to be spending your summer days inside mending. I know it's prolly going to take months and months anyway, but better to be that far out from surgery while it's warm than to go in for it in the middle of July. I'm the type that likes to get the inevitable out of the way. It has to happen, so it might as well be asap.

The pappardelle are actually kind of light...............the perfect chicken noodle noodle imo...........but yours are really, really light. I love to have them when I do pork steaks in cream of mushroom soup. I cook them for 3 min in boiling water, then drain and stir fry them in a skillet with some butter very quickly. Serve the gravy over them with the pork. The kids used to asked for that all the time, but I only make it occasionally now.

He's been babying himself so much over the last few days that the swelling is really down significantly. I was thinking we'd maybe drive down the coast to southern ore and so some agate hunting, but then thought of the knee. I don't think beach walking is the way to go.

He'd better stop doing this kind of stuff or I'm going to have to trade him in on a younger model. LOL
