I give Tiger credit to being a big reason why it's grown to where it is now. I've been taking the younger daughter out on some of the executives courses around the last couple of years. She loves it. Michell Wie early on looked to be another marketing success. Looks like Nike has picked Suzann Pettersen.

>NIKE Golf has added to its US LPGA Tour team by signing Suzann Pettersen, who recently moved to No. 2 in the Rolex World Rankings. Pettersen signed a multiyear agreement and will represent Nike Golf in clubs, balls, bag, footwear and glove. According to the US magazine Golfweek’s website www.golfweek.com, her bag will consist of the SasQuatch Sumo driver, SasQuatch 2 3 wood (15 degrees), Sumo hybrids (18 and 21 degrees), SV Tour wedges (54 and 60 degrees) and the Ignite 001 putter. Last year Pettersen played with TaylorMade clubs and a Ping Doc 15 Putter she borrowed from her pro-am partner at the McDonald’s LPGA Championship. She previously played a Titleist Pro V1 ball and glove and wore FootJoy shoes. Nike officials say Pettersen eventually will wear their apparel but is under a clothing contract with Peak Performance.
