Does he have crutches, or a cane? That will really help to keep him more steady.... Beach walking sounds fun, but from my experience, walking on uneven ground is more harmful to the knee than walking on sidewalks....Maybe you could go to Victoria or Vancouver for a change of scenery...both would be beautiful, even if it rains...The shopping in both places is fun, and the parks have sidewalks for the walks in the park.... Hopefully, as he stays off it as much as possible, it will heal enough for him to get around....the miniscus tear I did last April, did eventually feel better...it's still there, but that's why the Doc said it would do no good to fix it, because I would still need to have the whole knee done anyway... :o/
I will try your noodles next time I'm near the store....Does QFC have them or are they a speciality item?
Yeah, I know about the surgery...and summer....first have to have vein stuff done, and that takes a couple of months to deal with, so should be done by mid March with that part...Plus I would really like to finish my term for the group I'm leading till the end of May....But if I wait till after that, we're into summer. I'm going to to to time it right after the meeting in March, so I will have 4 weeks till the April one.... Unless the world falls apart, I can't miss the May meeting....
Ahhhh, the trials of "Our Gal Sunday"....you were too young to remember that radio show... I think that was the name of it. |
