While we are all waiting for the second labs results does any know what happened to the water desalination project or even the fly ash? the following old announcement from Maxam East Peoria, Illinois….September 23, 2003

Maxam Gold Corporation Board of Directors has elected a new President to succeed its founder and President/Chairman/CEO, Dale L. Runyon, who passed away last month. Mr. Richard Steeves has been named President and Chief Executive Officer. Mr. Steeves previously served as Vice President and COO, as well as Secretary/Treasurer of Maxam Gold Corporation.

Mr. Lowell Rask, successful businessman and long time shareholder and supporter of Maxam Gold Corporation has been appointed as a Director.

Mr. Steeves has stated that the new initiatives previously announced by Maxam continue to move forward with additional emphasis devoted to their success.

Fly-Ash projects involving the removal of deliterous materials and extraction of marketable elements from coal-burning electric power companies has been re-energized with partnerships previously established. New advisors have been contracted to further develop these projects.

Steeves also announced that an advisory group has been contracted to assist the company with the desalinization of water projects. Maxam previously announced the joint venture with Sunspring, Inc.

Additional details on the Fly-Ash and the Desalinization initiatives were announced earlier this year and can be found on the Maxam Gold web site.
