I raised the portfolio cash level to an unprecedented 40% today; I had planned to do more but some of the Asian stuff is trading at such stupid prices that I won't sell until they rebound somewhat. I reduced MTNOY, TFFTF, TLVT, ORKLY and KPELY by 1/2 or more. I sold completely: CFSG SSL IIJI CSE (keeping TONE which CSE is buying) FSNM CIM DNBHF MUEL ALY SWDBY GLDD SHERF BAM CBON There's a 50-50 chance that we are standing on the verge of a much deeper selloff like January 2001. The risk is high enough that my main goal for now will be capital preservation rather than taking on more risk.
