He/they needed to deal with the housing bubble 3-4 years ago (amongst other problems). He didn't, some of which was likely intentional. He wants to pass on the problem to the next guy, who will likely be a dem. If he is lucky, the next guy will get the blame. Interesting how history repeats itself over and over again(although per my mommy Hoover and FDR fomented and supported the depression by squashing money supply).
