You are proud of corrupt politicians who run our economy and military into the ground?

As for "America", the land of the free you are so "proud" of has been hijacked by rightwing politicos, and is in the process of being freed from their greedy corrupt neo-fascist grasp.

As I've discussed, America is not some corrupt president or any politicians. It is not even the land or the people who now inhabit it. The timeless and most precious aspect of America is our Constitution, Bill Of rights and democracy. And it is the Bushies who attacked all three of those. SO who loves America? We all do, but what we don't love or want is some rightwing corporate fascist dictatorship such as those on the far right have been scheming for, and have been trying to turn our country into since Joseph McCarthy and even earlier back in the corrupt GOP robber baron days.

America's greatest moments had nothing to do with the rightwing. They were FDR's bringing us out of the Great Depression, ending slavery, winning WWII because we all pitched in and conserved, REGULATED corporations included, the Civil Rights liberties and the new age of liberty brought in by JFK.

The rightwing has had very little to do with any of our greatest hours, but usually a lot to do with our worst hours.
