Trying to twist your way out of that is not a terrific quality.<< Mary - Reagan did challenge conventional wisdom, and he certainly had plenty of ideas. The thing he did was to get moderate voters who had previously voted Democratic to vote for Republicans. And he got them to buy his ideas, even though they were terrible. That's what Obama was talking about, and he has nothing to apologize for, nor anything to twist his way out of. Personally, I can't see why saying something complimentary about a former President of the opposite party is such a horrible crime. - Allen
