Joe,--you made some interesting points to consider on CVIA!!--You mentioned that the company authorized 100 Million shares at the last Annual Meeting on May 28, 1997------when I spoke to CVIA President Jack Arnold last week I thought I heard him mention to me that CVIA currently had in the area of 40 Million shares ( maybe he meant that only 40 Million shares were currently free trading in the market place and the other approximately 60 Million shares are still in the companies treasury but have not been distributed or issued to the public for trading!! This is only my opinion and my hear-say but on another thread I read that someone mentioned that even a shell company with zero assets still costs about $1,000,000. to get started plus a lot of time, patience and hard work!!!---So my guess ( and I reinforce that it is only a guess and speculation on my part)--is that even if CVIA is in a worst case scenario--the shell portion of the company could still have a significant attraction to other companies or investors looking at getting on a public stock exchange!! It would be interesting to know the actual number of shares that are freely trading out there on CVIA--if anyone talks to Jack Arnold next week maybe they could share their findings with this thread once they have some information.
