TXP Hires Brent R. Troxel as Controller

RICHARDSON, Texas--(BUSINESS WIRE)--TXP Corporation (OTCBB: TXPO - News), an Original Design Manufacturer (ODM) for the telecommunications industry, today announced that it has hired Brent R. Troxel as Controller of the company.

Brent Troxel began his career as an audit and tax accountant at Arthur Andersen & Co. in 1981. In 1984, he was hired by GTE where he made significant enhancements to profit margins, revenue growth and overall operations in the divisions he managed for the next 16 years. As Manager, Business Solutions and Divestitures at GTE, Mr. Troxel participated in the negotiation of business alliances to generate new revenue opportunities for GTE Strategic Business Units and evaluated numerous acquisition and merger scenarios during the establishment of Verizon Wireless. Mr. Troxel has spent the last seven years at Verizon Communications where he held senior positions in the Enterprise Marketing Group. In these roles he evaluated critical business issues and significantly enhanced the P&L management of a new business venture. He also was involved in developing complex business solutions for Verizon’s Enterprise customers that resulted in the award of new business totaling millions of dollars. Mr. Troxel holds a Master of Business Administration in Telecommunications Management from the University of Dallas and a Bachelor of Science degree in Business from Indiana University. He is also a Certified Public Accountant.
