Looking back to that 2001-2002 time period I ran a percentage change scan of industry groups from Jan 2001 through Mar 2003. Here were the top 15 groups with their percentage change:

214% Silver
145% Auto Dealerships
143% Music & Video Stores
121% Nonmetallic Mineral Mining
84% Office Supplies
75% Sporting Goods Stores
70% Auto Parts Stores
65% Dairy Products
64% Gold
56% Packaging & Containers
53% Personal Services
39% Jewelry Stores
38% Specialty Eateries
37% Drug Related Products
37% Auto Parts Wholesale

Worse 5:

-88% Diversified Communications
-84% Processing Systems & Products
-83% Internet Service Providers
-82% Network & Communication
-81 Printed Circuit Boards

I also ran a scan against Dale's current portfolio although many of the ADR/Pink Sheet type stocks are not in my software program and some of the stock just weren't around back then.
