Oh yeah? Then what does "Other things don't have the dead weight loss that comes from taxation." mean? It is only a dead weight loss if it doesn't do anything. Dead weight loss isn't restricted to taxation, you know.

Sure it is, Tim. Where the government gets the money does not impact the fact that they spend it. And they spend it on the open market, not in some command economy.

"The services provided by government don't compete for customers, they tax the money away, and then provide the services for "free"."

Your point? I thought the discussion was over government spending and economic stimulus, not services. Now, if you want to change the subject at least give me the courtesy of letting me know.
