Today's market reminded me of a long-ago event when I drove a car to a party--a car that had given me a lot of trouble, and after a while it seemed like a good idea to rally some other people and turn the car upside down, to teach it a lesson. We got it over on its side and then some other people decided we were crazy so they got on the other side and began pushing the other way. Eventually the people on my side changed their minds and went over to the other side and rolled the car back over onto its wheels. Except for a little denting and scratching on one side, it was OK. Anyway, this market reminded me of a bunch of drunks trying to roll a car over.
