I like to read him occasionally - gloom, doom, and big derivatives ka-boom stuff. Funny cartoons. I think his big picture (Jim's formula) is right. I don't know if returns like 2001 when HUI skyrocketed from 35 will ever be back, but they are not that bad over the long run, if your butt can sit on your gold, that is. Sometimes that metal gets awfully hot. -g-
