Boys really are naturally much messier. My son's room was always horrible.

When he went away to college, once and awhile he would bring someone home for a visit, who also brought his laundry (this was my son's idea) my mom loves to do laundy was my son's statement. Anyhow, the companies first remark always was, WOW, I can't believe how clean his room is. So that tells you what a mess he lived it. At the end of the year, I always had to pay an additional amount as he never left his room clean enough.

I am a firm believer in if the wife works or even does a lot of volunteering outside the home while the kids are around, there should be help at least one day a week.

If the husband doesn't agree with that, let him mop the floors and run the vacuum at least three times a week, plus help with the laundry and clean up after meals.. It is just to much to pile on the woman.

Of course this is the New me. The old me did all of those things and kept my mouth shut, simply because that's what was expected of me..

The men on this thread seem amazing..Ish does it all, Oral cooks all the time, Many Moose seems to be helping his wife all the time, and of course, Ken does it all now, but it sounds as if he did a lot when his wife was around. All in all, I think the men on this thread are a cut above!
However, the times they are achanging.
