Any new IRS ruling may affect all the high LTV lenders, not just CTYS. I am also not absolutely sure of the tax deductibility issue, although I assume that interest on all home equity loans are tax deductible irrespective of the LTV ratio. Congress prefers to keep borrowers off credit card loans and so they should have no problem offering voters other better alternatives, IMO.
