Allen- The only emotion I ever had concerning Bill Maher was to think how stupid and insensitive it is to be saying such a thing on the air. It's a point just not worth making, except perhaps at cocktail party of sympathetic friends, after a few martinis. The event was so horrendous and cruel that it seems utterly unseemly to make a pedantic effort to find something good to say about the perpetrators. Even now.
