Dems still beat GOP in national polls, all of them except when McCain enters the picture he makes it very close. But McCain may be at his peak right now. I doubt his appeal will stand up. Also expect him to get hammered by negative Romney ads starting ASAP. False and misleading post. Here are the real polls, all of them. realclearpolitics.com The strongest Dem is Edwards which is exactly why I support him, and no race or gender issues for the press and the racist/sexist rightwing to get into a hissy fit about.
