Ken, I always thought it was a thankless job too....(like the laundry, you are never caught up for long with a family, its easier as we are older for that)....

But get yourself a couple of great dusting tools. One a semi-longhandle lambswool duster, and one that is long handled. Plus I get packages of microfiber dusting cloths. They work slick, hold on to the dust till you shake the cloth, so that you just aren't moving the dust around. These cloths are miracle cloths IMO.

I also have a couple of microfiber cloths that I use ONLY for cleaning crystal...Mystic Maid Microfiber Cloth....They were $11 each for just this small weave microfiber cloth, but they are simply terrific for crystal and glass of any kind. I wash these cloths separately, so they don't have extra lint on them. mysticmaid.com

These cloths are much cheaper now and last a long time!
