Liars? It didn't cut its dividend, which has been steadily going up. WFC is extremely diversified. Not hugely exposed to subprime BUT very big in auto loans and credit cards, the next debacle. Who knows what its exposure as a counterparty on CDSs might be. It will survive and thrive, but it is overpriced because the shares have not yet captured its exposure to credit cards and auto loans.
