Sam,
Although I have not been around CPQ for long, I have been around other stocks for a while. I think the day traders playing the spread is exactly what is taking place. Whenever you see millions of shares trading without a great deal of movement, it's usually safe to say it's them. As a matter of fact, I believe there are several of them that frequent this thread.

I'm sure they make a decent living doing it, but it's a bit too frenetic for me. -Keith-
