lund, thanks for any info. that effects pc's. please comments all you want it's relevant to thread.
I have a bug report on all of the m/s prodcus.
In general they are good on the sweet spot.
the explorer problem is a sweet spot. i expect this fixed overnite.
But, m/s prodcuts on the envelop or their advanced features are absolutely pathetic.
Gates is rich off of a great idea that handles 80% of the needs when you try to do the advanced stuff and really go hi-tech the features work in their books only.
I have over 20 calls from my staff to M/S and we get most calls free because we either have discovered a bug are discovered one they
already knew about.
Win 95 is okay but slow, client 32 has helped allot.
Foxpro as a relational database system for a small compnay would never be my pick now that visual basic is super mature.

Please bring up any cpq related M/S issues.
thanks

question, most corporations are retooling their pc's and they don't have all those models and pc mfg'ers you are naming.
The have a laptop, and an engring work station and a desktop unit....
and why buy some of those models when a cpq p166 is 969 deskpro 2000??

Must be a Japanese owned compnay.
but, your servers are Proliants aren't they???
