Dave, what do you think the chances are they will start using coal to make oil? I see no alternative and I think oil from coal can be produced cheaper than oil shale, which is the only other large deposits of hydrocarbons I know of.

Not enough heavy oil.

There is an interesting documentary on peak oil I watched the other day, but cannot remember the title.
