I'm trying to understand your point here. Are you advocating the promotion of numerous non-English speaking enclaves?

I'm of the opinion that gov't documents should all be in English to promote the inclusion and integration of immigrants into American society. (Current law and practices notwithstanding).

So long as there are immigrants though, many will be more comfortable using their native language. So, I don't object to non-official sources, like radio and TV stations, broadcasting in another language. It would only make sense that advertising on those sources be in that language, whether they are political or commercial ads.

I see these things as separate and distinct, since one (the official gov't one) is funded by the taxpayer, and the other (the commercial stations) are privately funded.

Did I miss your point?
