>What the hell has come over you......have you been promised a job in the new Clinton administration?
Huh? Why do you think I like Clinton? I don't. I'm not saying she's a better candidate than Obama. I haven't actually decided that.
My point is that no matter who the Dem candidate is, whether it's Obama, Clinton, or Edwards, the Dem is extremely likely to win.
>Obama got twice as many votes as Edwards and Clinton combined.
53% of the voters in SC were black. 80% of those were for Obama. What percentage of the overall electorate is black nationally? 8%? He did get somewhere between 21-25% of the white vote, too, which is pretty good, though. But it by no means shows he's the best candidate.
>In addition, I posted to you the latest national polls with Hillary vs McCain and Romney, and Obama vs McCain and Romney.....Obama was the one who came up on top, not Hillary.
Yes, and I never said that wasn't the case. I just said that Hillary beats Romney, too, and that McCain's numbers are not going to hold up if he wins the nomination; Hillary's will (and I think Obama's will, too).
>You are almost as bad as AS.
No, dude. I'm defending Hillary here based on what I see in the polls and in the overall electoral environment. She can win. I don't want her to be the candidate (remember, I'm pushing Edwards), but she can.
I'm pushing back hard here on Hillary because you're insisting over and over that Hillary can't win, and all indicators seem to point otherwise. A lot of that has nothing to do with her as a candidate, but rather with how terrible the whole Republican slate is and how much the public hates the Republicans these days because of Mr. 31%.
You're the one (as are many other people) that thinks that Obama is some sort of savior. He's just not. Neither is Edwards, nor Hillary. They'd all make good Presidents, but the only way any of them is our savior is when compared to Bush. But I don't get the feeling that any of them will turn the world on its head.
