Sure but if I win my bet then counterparty is a euphemism for loser, no ? Things can't be weighed in emotions, ethics, or ideals That's really my point.. It's all rather pretentious (again IMO) to think otherwise.. When I play chess with my son and he wins (which does happen more often now) I lost.. When we bet in the market it is nice and sterile to say you beat the market... but that market is made up of lots of counterparties with emotions.. to think TJ is really any different form anyone else playing the market is silly...
