I actually have to disagree. I think this is going to be a new century of enlightenment. Islamist radicals are going to learn to be more tolerant or be eliminated. Tyrants are going to learn that enlightened citizens aren't going to be as willing to submit because they will be shown to be the murdering thugs they are via the www risking world wide ostracization and/or the threat of force. Corporations are going to need to participate more aggressively in the environmental movement, acknowledge the issues of poverty and other social issues (child care, health care, education) as well as workers rights, if they want to remain competitive and attract quality help. And Progressives are going to learn they can't fool all the people all the time like they did when they owned communication, and will need to do more compromising if they want to get elected, as will Conservatives.

We might experience a larger amount of chaos in this century, but I believe the IQ of the average human is going to increase and I believe we are all going to be better informed.

Informed individuals have a tendency to become more and more powerful, so new and better informed leaders will more than likely emerge that will make today's leaders look like pikers.
