Making fun of "liberals" is really stupid. for one thing liberalism has grown and evolved. We are far more fiscally conservative than rightwingers who are not conservative about anything anymore except hanging onto to their own money.

We are "Progressives" now, and "Centrist Progressives". Some of us are also "Moderates". Some old-timers like to call themselves "A proud liberal". That is fine., They have much to be proud of. But the old-fashioned liberal is as out-dated as the honest Goldwater conservative. There are very few of them left.
