Honest efficient government officials are fine. dishonest inefficient ones like the ones Bush appoints ("Helluva job, Brownie" as people die) are the ones we don't want.

The real crime here was Reagan saying "government is the problem". Reagan was dead wrong. In fact let's be blunt, that was an evil lie. The problem is not government, it's corrupt and inefficient Bushie style government. Saying all government is bad is as stupid as saying all corporations or all teachers or all cops are bad. It's just stupid. And it's beena big lie the rightwing have been tellling themselves for a long time.

Why do they tell this lie? For the greediest of corporate interests which want to screw us every whichway without government interference. That's the only reason.
