this also makes me laugh. every time a "pundit" goes on Bloomberg or cnbc and they are asked is it "time" to go into financials, they say, not yet, or only dip a toe. Well WHO HAS owned these stocks? The answer is WE all do given they are such a huge part of the indexes. But the media will have you believe that nobody was holding the bag. They are owned by Everybody and they were being bought by value investors right before the denouement. It's a joke the way history is rewritten in the financial media.
