The American electoral system isn't perfect, but it doesn't suck. And I never said anything about Obamas, um, "awesomeness?". No, you didn't... I wasn't quoting you; just a joke in the blogosphere about how he's going to change things just by virtue of being awesome... i forget people around here aren't blog fiends sometimes :) That's the kind of cynicism that will try to derail what Obama is attempting to do. I have seen it as well. In fact, Obama mentioned it in his speech last nite. It comes in many forms but its intended to negate something good...sharing problems, helping people out who need the help, nationalized medicine etc. Essentially, it believes Man is inherently bad.........that he can only do good in spurts before returning to his evil ways.
