Hi Doug, thanks for the information. Were the assays from direct fire assay of the dirt, or from leach of a large sample?

I seem to remember a number of years ago that Maxam had problems doing a fire assay from dirt that had 0.04OPT when the gold was held as single grains or captured internally in a matrix.

IMO they need to grind the gold, do a leach, and then do the assay after selective precious metal capture on resins.

Why do they retread old methods, IMO they should know better.
