Yes. Over 5 years at UTMB, Galveston.

It isn't, or at least wasn't, a model of efficiency. Nor were any of the other hospitals in the area.

"But the problems that France is facing ought to throw cold water on the notion that universal health care is a panacea."

Are their problems worse than ours? By most measures I have seen, they beat out the US in many categories. Yet their costs are a lot lower.
