My father was not a rightwinger at all, he was all-American, literally, an all-American football star, but he invested and sacrificed a lot in standing up against rightwing corruption, fascism, racism, war-mongering, pollution and selfish wasteful materialism.
My father was a very ethical, honest, patriotic and morally pure man. He never lied, cheated, stole and hurt anyone. And unlike Bushies he fought for his country. He saw it as his patriotic duty to pay his taxes and serve as a Marine during WWII. He would give someone in need the shirt off his back. He was a true Christian, though he never boasted about it. He was friends with Billy Graham and peoples of all races and nationalities, but he couldn't stand the corrupt conmen of the religious right nor the greedy billionaire class who don't want to pitch in and help society. He knew the difference.
Most rightwing policies and leadres are now the opposite of what both Jesus Christ and our Founding Fathers preached. The polar opposite. They even betray Goldwater conservatism which was an honest type of American. Which is why my arguments are on very solid moral ground. Because Bushie rightwingers are amoral, unethical and just plain wrong.
I have never been wrong when I have suspected a Bushie rightwinger of deceit or corruption. In fact it's turned out to be much worse than I feared. That is a real tragedy for our country but now at last we have a chance to flush the Bushie traitors away forever. And it will be done. That good enough for you? |
