Edwards is no favorite son of SC. He is from NORTH Carolina, not that hillbilly backwoods known as South Carolina or little Carolina. (joke) There is a dividing line between the southern states and if you're from one it does separate you from others to an extent; no real animosity, but it makes a difference. (Most of this is football related.)
