Bookdon,
I believe Ultrabeam's (UTEK sub) V2000 is being used for .25u production today and .18u R&D. I expect to receive a copy of the benchmark between it and ETEC's tool this week - on the ETEC thread, it was reported that UTEK is an order of magnitude faster than ETEC. Of course, UTEK IR confirmed this.
In any case, neither company announces each and every sale of their tools. We don't know whether intended use is R&D or production; and other companies outsource their mask making.
I still believe it's very difficult, if not impossible for individual investors to determine which fabs are on which design rules. All of us believe there will be an increasing number at .25 and less.
JMAR Zombies,
I know I should just ignore you; and eventually you'll just go away. But to compare CYMI and JMAR. That's ludicrous. When JMAR can announce that it has sold 10 or more XRL tools in the LAST quarter rather than it hopes to sell one within a year or so, come back and talk. Until then, in my mind there's no difference between JMAR and BreX, Solvex, ISSM, MFN,...
Give it a rest. Ian. |
