The Chinese built roads, railways, mines and provided services by establishing restaurants and laundries. You can never undervalue the contribution Chinese have made to this country. In my opinion Canada needs more Chinese and it would be perfectly acceptable to me if Mandarin bumped French as our second official language. en.wikipedia.org
