No you cannot produce a hockey stick from red noise. You can if you cherry pick principle components. Wegman was very careful not to produce any graphs of his own from the data, for a very good reason. If you really think that red noise will produce a hockey stick, why will it be upward facing rather than downward facing? You can do some very simple sanity checks when people make nutcase claims. If you bother to look, you'll see that all the latest IPCC temp reconstructions look very much like Mann, and this is nearly a decade later. Why has the work of M&M & Wegman not held the day with the science community? Oh, I know, it is a vast conspiracy! However no one has shown that Wegman's review of M&M was flawed. Read up a bit. No point in staying clueless.
