Bush and Cheney were both alcoholics. So where do you come off calling Teddy Kennedy a "boozer". Yes he's Irish and likes a few scotches. He's a bit wild around the edges, but in terms of public policy it has NEVER affected his judgement. He was right about Iraq from day one. He has been right about health care for 40 years. He is right to defend the workingclass even though he himself is rich. And his brothers were two of the greatest Americans ever, both gunned by by rightwing extremists using lone nut patsies. The question is, if JFK and RFK had lived how much better would the USA and the world be now? I say MUCH better. We'd all be better off.
